Spend wisely, save more, knock off work really early.
There are a number of reasons why investors may want to invest in something more focussed than a broad Australian Equity index.
You may be looking for a specific asset allocation - eg. 20% Australian listed property. Or you may take the view that a particular sector is undervalued right now, or that the long term prospects of a particular sector are better than the market as a whole.
For whatever reason, there are a number of ETFs which allow you to drill into specific sectors with your investment portfolio. What follows is a list of the Australian sector-specific ETFs.
ASX Code | Name | Benchmark | Management Fee |
---|---|---|---|
SLF | SPDR S&P/ASX 200 Listed Property Fund | S&P/ASX 200 A-REITs | 0.4% |
OZR | SPDR S&P/ASX 200 Resources Fund | S&P/ASX 200 Resources | 0.4% |
VAP | Vanguard Australian Property Securities Index ETF | S&P/ASX 300 A-REITs | 0.25% |
