This global fixed interest fund aims to emulate the returns of the Markit iBoxx Global Developed Markets Liquid High Yield Capped Index.
I don't know a lot about bond markets, but looking at the detailed description of the index, it aims for all bonds in the index "to have an average rating of sub-investment grade". I presume the lower grade bonds have higher coupons and therefore yield greater levels of income.
